THE DRYDEN CHRONO DIVER (GEN 2)
Vintage Soul. Modern Heart
CAPTURING THE ERA
The 1970s was a golden era for chronograph design—defined by bold dials, pump pushers, and skin diver cases. The Dryden Chrono Diver was born from a desire to capture that specific aesthetic energy, but in a package built for today’s lifestyle.
While we love the character of vintage timepieces, we don’t love the fragility. We designed the Chrono Diver to offer the best of both worlds: the undeniable charm of a vintage tool watch, paired with the grab-and-go reliability of modern engineering.
The Tactile Snap of Mecha-Quartz: Powered by a premium Seiko VK-series movement. You get the grab-and-go reliability of a battery, paired with the sweeping chronograph hand and crisp mechanical click-reset of a traditional stopwatch.
On-The-Fly Micro-Adjust Clasp:
A great watch is meant to be worn all day. Our engineered 5-link stainless steel bracelet features a toolless micro-adjustment system, letting you size the fit up or down in seconds as your wrist changes temperature.
Assembled in Kansas City:
Every single Chrono Diver is hand-assembled and pressure-tested for water resistance right here in the Heartland.
Vintage Soul. Modern Heart.
I’ve always been drawn to the "purposeful clutter" of 1970s skin divers—the high-contrast subdials, the pump pushers, and that unmistakable instrument feel. I created the Chrono Diver to bring that specific vintage aesthetic into a modern, reliable package.
With the Gen 2, the goal wasn’t to reinvent that formula, but to sharpen the execution. The biggest engineering challenge was the case architecture. We completely redesigned the entire side profile and lug geometry specifically to allow for a seamless 5-link metal bracelet while maintaining the slim, highly wearable proportions that made the original wear so well.
Beyond being a massive functional upgrade, the Gen 2 is a modern-sized take on a vintage icon—built to be rugged enough for daily wear, not just sitting in a collection box.
